Here are some views from White River Campground on Tues evening and Wed morn. You can see Rainier lurking in the distance and also appreciate some of the flood damage around the river from a big flood last winter that destroyed many of the roads in the park.

Gina and I got engaged on the 4th! We drove out to Rainier Nat Park on Tues afternoon and camped at White River. On Wed, we did a hike from Sunrise Visitor's center, the highest point you can drive to on the mountain. We had a clear, fantastic day, and finished up that evening back in Seattle for some waterfront fireworks. What a day.
