Hayden's 8 months old / crawling

It's hard for us to believe it, but Hayden turned 8 months old today. We took him on a long hike in Percy Warner Park since he always loves being outside. He went on my back in the carrier (rather than my front) which made it a little easier on the ole back. He was very snug back there and after looking around for the first 20 minutes or so, he slept the rest of the time. It was a cold but pretty day. We took a few pictures as we got back to the car right at sunset. We also gave Hayden some some of his favorite sweet potatoes for dinner when we go back, which he clearly enjoyed...

Finally, at the link here you can see a vid of Hayden's latest efforts at crawling. He's making progress for sure! He just doesn't seem all that motivated to crawl because he has rolling down to such an art, but we can lure him into it with a nice looking set of rings that he likes to chew on.
