Henley gracefully entered the world without any fuss. There was no flood in Nashville, no tornadoes, and no dramatic delivery in the operating room. She entered the world ready to be snuggled and held and observe the world around her. She has spent the better part of the year doing just that. She is calm and easy going and prefers to take her time doing things. She loves watching and laughing at her brother, and from day one he has loved his "sissy." He often refers to her now as "his baby."
Henley has stolen our hearts just as Hayden did! Her toothy smile lights up a room and her clear attachment to "mom-mom-ma, da-da-da, and bubba" as she refers to us lets us know that she loves us just as much as we do her.
This past weekend we celebrated her upcoming birthday with our family. A simple lunch and cupcakes made for a perfect party. The cousins played and we were all able to sit around and visit. It was a perfect day! We are so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing family on both sides that are such a huge part of our children's lives.
I look at these pictures and know without a doubt that life is good!
