This past month he has continued to get better at standing and moving along furniture. He still needs the support of something to stand, but is willing to at least try to hold onto anything in order to get himself up. He has finally learned to sit down once standing in bed which is a huge relief. We had almost 2 weeks of crying every time he got up and couldn't get back down. My guess is that although he seems to be getting close it will still be a little while before he takes his first steps on his own. Fine with me!
His communication skills have greatly improved this month and it seems almost as if he actually is trying to have a conversation with us. He is constantly chattering and making all sorts of noises. You can tell immediately whether or not the sounds are happy, frustrated, mad, etc. He understands a lot of what we are doing and often reacts to it! Other than mama and dada his first intelligible word seems to be "baby." He loves to say this word and almost always will say it on que. He also has been trying to say "shoes" and "thank you."
Happy 11 months little guy! We love you!
